Can you take dogs?
Hi Davina,
There seems to be people asking the same question on Tripadvisor, and although they couldn’t find an exact answer, i did find one on the official website.
it is stated: “Whilst we love our furry friends, unfortunately NO PETS are allowed at Carrara Markets. Please leave your pets at home and please do not be tempted to leave them in your car.”
So unfortunately, I wouldn’t take the risk – even though some people have claimed to be able to take their dogs in.
Thanks
Michael
Is there a car boot sale..?
Hi John,
Yes, there is a Car Boot Sale that operates on Sundays from 6am to 9am. There is a $10 fee payable and entry tickets are sold from 5am.
There are 120 sites available allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Entry to car boot selling area opens at 5.30am. Sellers must trade from 6am to 9am (no early exit). Each participant gets 2 car park spaces – one to park the car and one to sell from. All goods sold must be second-hand or hand/homemade, so no plants or fruit and veg. BYO tables, you will have 2.5 metres to work with. The Car Boot Sale operates rain, hail or shine.
Best regards,
Jess
