The Coombabah Lake Conservation Park is a nature reserve that is a wetland on the Gold Coast, just a short drive north of Surfers Paradise.
The Coombabah Lake Conservation Park protects over 2500 acres of a lowland coastal habitat and houses over 125 species of Australian wildlife.

Within the park, you will certainly see plenty of wildlife including kangaroos and koalas as well as a large variety of birds. From the boardwalk, visitors can see across to the Coombabah Lake’s western shore, an undeveloped lake habitat where the bird watching is excellent.
There are a number of walks you can take within the Coombabah Lake Nature Reserve including the Koala Track and the Kookaburra Track. All tracks are easy walks and suitable for people with moderate fitness as well as children.
