Pine Ridge Conservation Park

The Pine Ridge Conservation Park is a small conservation park which is located near the coast, just 10 km north of the Gold Coast city centre via the Gold Coast Highway.

Pine Ridge Conservation Park protects many endangered Australian plant species and is also culturally important to the local Kombumerri-Ngarangwal people.

Most visitors to the park come to walk along the many tracks which include bitumen paths as well as sandy trails. During your walk, you will see a variety of wildflowers as well as some local wildlife including koalas, lace monitors and kingfishers, just to name a few.

Camping is not allowed in the park, but a picnic area is available for those wanting to enjoy a whole day out. As it is recommended that visits occur only during daylight hours, many people come early in the morning and stay for a light lunch in one of the many shady areas. Picnic tables are provided in the picnic area in the north-west section of the park, however, visitors should note that there are no toilet facilities in Pine Ridge Regional Park.

Due to the protected status of the park, dogs are also not permitted in the park. Access to the car park and day-use area is via Oxley Drive off the Gold Coast Highway. Wheelchair accessibility is limited to the sealed bitumen bike track along the northern boundary (Columbus Drive) and eastern extent (Jacaranda Avenue).
