Start off your walk at Lakeside which is surrounded by tree ferns, Japanese windflowers and iris’. Here you will see a variety of water birds, fish, frogs and a beautiful old stone bridge.

Continue on your walk through the various sections of the gardens dedicated to showcasing some of the most beautiful and unique plants and flowers. Stroll the many pathways and visit the Japanese Garden, Cherry Tree Walk, Rainforest Walk, Magnolia Garden, Carmelia Garden, Rhododendron Garden, Orchid House and Rose Garden.

Most of the walks are easy gradients with mild slopes, however, those with prams and wheelchairs should note that the Tropical Rainforest Walk does involve some steps.

The gardens are best enjoyed with family and friends, so bring a picnic and spend an afternoon relaxing in this tranquil setting. The park is open during daylight hours, which means that the park is often open until at least 6pm during daylight savings.
