Hosted along the Surfers Paradise Beach, this is a casual setting with plenty of space, perfect for families and children.

Carols on the Beach, Christmas 2024 Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast

Carols on the Beach returns to the sands of Surfers Paradise, and this much-loved Gold Coast event will be hosted by one of Australia’s favourite media personalities!

Do you hear what I hear? Your all-time favourite Christmas carols will be performed in a 2-hour jolly song and dance celebration by an all-Aussie line-up with one special international guest travelling from the North Pole!

Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets will host their special Christmas market along the foreshore with a curated collection of bespoke Christmas goods from 4pm. To top the night off, there’ll be a sparkly fireworks finale!

Carols on the Beach is a free, family-friendly event that kicks off at 6pm. Why not make a weekend of it with a Staycation or book the family in for dinner at one of the mouth-watering Surfers Paradise restaurants?

Leave the car at home and ride the “G”. The G:link tram will carry passengers to and from this event with trams every 10 minutes up until 9pm.

This event is free, and all are welcome. So bring your picnic blanket and your best singing voice and join the season’s festive spirit.

  We have been monitoring the events closely, and there is still yet to be any details released for the Carols on the Beach events.
  
  I have seen that the Mayor’s Carols has gone online this year, but there are still a number of carols that will be held in person; which include the ones at Sanctuary Cove, Robina, Coolangatta, Mudgeeraba and Main Beach – so there might be hope that the event still runs.

      I have scanned all of the official council, government and tourism websites and i can’t find any mention of the event for this year – even though many of the other Gold Councils have scheduled events and the Mayor’s Carols was held last week.
      
      I will update the page on the website to reflect this, but it’s pretty safe to say it’s not happening this year.
