Gold Coast Open House 2025 Festival Dates, Buildings, Locations
Gold Coast Open House (GCOH) is modelled on Open House Worldwide, the largest celebration of the urban landscape in the world.
The free festival program highlights the extraordinary local buildings, places, and spaces that shape our city and lifestyle. Led by a committee of local architects, it includes building tours, walking tours, panel discussions, special events, digital content, and more.
This free event will showcase the city’s vibrant history, architecture, and design, allowing residents and visitors to explore the architectural gems that shape the Gold Coast.
Gold Coast Open House is all about getting involved with the incredible design of this wonderful city. Whether you’re getting active with your hands at our activity centres like HOTA and Broadbeach Library or immersing yourself in our panel discussions and walking tours, there’s something for everyone.
The free event invites design-curious visitors to explore contemporary and heritage buildings, engage in thought-provoking panel discussions, and participate in activities celebrating the Gold Coast’s evolving urban landscape.
As part of this year’s program, local architects, venue managers, and community groups have collaborated to provide insights into the city’s transformation and the architectural highlights hidden behind Gold Coast’s doors.
Please refer to the official event program here for full details on the opening dates and times for each building.
